This has been a long time coming and a much needed next step in history of the cd circle.
By now you have either participated in or are about to participate in a cd circle and I hope, find it as rewarding as I have. For me, it has been a never-ending source of positive influence and inspiration which I hope to, as Metallica says, "Take to level 5" by creating this blog.
Why a blog? It's the easiest way to connect individuals and keep the community rolling. If there is any negative comment I've heard about the cd circle it's that people don't often get to hear what the reaction was to their cd. I understand the frustration. For most of us this is a labor of love and we put a lot of effort and energy into making cd's. To have no idea what people thought about it can be a bit of a buzz kill and leave a bas taste in your mouth.
The purpose of this blog is to inform and share with other participant’s thoughts and comments about anything related to the cd circle and coordinate upcoming cd circle events. This will give everyone an opportunity to interact with each other and foster discussion about music and music related subjects. Plus it's an opportunity to make new friends.
I will make every attempt to post a play list and comments about each and every cd that I have received. Unfortunately starting at the beginning and posting 60 plus mixes to catch up would take too much time and I fear drain me before I got caught up. I intend to begin with the most recent array of mixes and backtrack, as time will permit while awaiting the next cd.
Enjoy the blog. I encourage you to post and comment often. Let's give back some good vibes to those that have supplied the sumptuous sound waves.
